Mr. Scott Leeb, a Senior Consultant with Iknow LLC, will be conducting a webinar on March 15, 2017, titled, “Speaking Up and Being Heard: How to Create Greater Impact with Your Colleagues.” The webinar is being sponsored by the College of Information Studies at the University of Maryland.
In this webcast, Mr. Leeb will walk participants through the task of identifying their audience and how to communicate effectively to those individuals, and will provide strategies for creating a successful elevator pitch. Mr. Leeb noted, “Effective communications are an important life skill that enables us to better understand and connect with the people around us. I appreciate the opportunity to speak on this important topic. I hope that attendees can benefit from my experience in creating and running 5 different business functions which has resulted in me working with individuals across the entire spectrum of organizations, from Board of Directors members to entry-level staff.”
Mr. Leeb is an Engagement Director with Iknow LLC, a leading management and technology consulting firm that focuses on the knowledge management space. In this capacity, Leeb develops knowledge management solutions for federal, state, and corporate markets by concentrating on strategy definition and governance, knowledge capture and content management, business process design, systems integration, and change management. Prior to this, Leeb had more than 15 years’ experience creating, managing, and growing the global business intelligence and knowledge management programs at Prudential Retirement, The McGraw-Hill Companies, KPMG, Ingram Micro, and a leading international philanthropy, The Rockefeller Foundation. He is currently on the faculty at the University of Johannesburg and is a former Chairman of the Board of SCIP (Strategy and Competitive Intelligence Professionals).
